Verbil is an elegant but powerful way to read and study Vergils Aeneid. Despite its many built-in tools and resources, Verbil aims to keep your reading as quiet and clutter-free as an unmarked paper text.

Look it up
- Tap any word to see its definition. Verbils custom lexicon contains only definitions used in Vergils Aeneid and saves you time by getting every word right, even proper names.
- Ever wonder where else a word occurs? Verbil lets you do word searches, showing you the verses containing a lemma or inflected form you give it.

Review vocabulary
- Create your own vocabulary lists, or let Verbil do it for you. Given a range of verses, Verbil will fill it with all the words in those verses. Or just the common words. Or just the uncommon words. Whatever youd like.
- Verbil has a number of smart vocabulary lists: words youve starred, words youve looked up most frequently, words youve gotten wrong a lot.
- You can also study words based on how often they occur in the poem. Verbils frequency lists let you prioritize your vocabulary review.

Make it your own
- Create your own passages to organize your assignments, or create random passages from the Latin AP Exam selections for reading practice.
- Make interlinear notes that you can show and hide with a single tap (and later export).
- Flag verses that you need to review or ask a question about.

Track your progress
- Verbil keeps track of what youre been reading, what youre looking up, and more.
- The dashboard view shows you a log of your recent activity.

Sharing and export
- Export your interlinear notes and vocabulary lists via email or Dropbox.
- Share vocabulary sets with your friends via email.

Just in case
- Forget your endings? Consult one of the quick-reference handouts or dive into a searchable Bennetts New Latin Grammar.
- If get really stuck, Verbil also contains Drydens translation of the Aeneid.
